Industrial cities in Oman

What Is a Madayn Industrial City?

Madayn industrial cities are mainland industrial locations developed for production, industrial services, storage and related commercial activity. They are not the same as Oman’s free zones or special economic zones. The right location depends on the activity, target market, plot size, utilities, logistics route, approvals and total operating cost—not only the advertised land rent.

Important: industrial-city rent is only one part of the project cost. Utilities, construction, approvals, environmental requirements, equipment, labour, service charges and logistics can materially change the real cost of operating in a location.
